These weather conditions today made sleigh riding amazing at the house this evening! I’ve never went so far and so fast with the kids since we moved in in 2006. Fun!

Non-stop rain and freezing temperatures. Oh, joy!

here in ol' VA we got only a couple of days of snow, only for it to melt away, then afterwards some freezing cold rain that made some expected packages take longer to arrive.

I don't know why but I suddenly had a vision of driving down to Vaporman's house and committing a felony assault.

Apparently the entire state of Texas is without power. And here we were thinking 2021 was going to be better than last.

The whole state!?  Holy cow, I didn't hear yet. I've been teaching and working all morning.

It's been snowing here since Wednesday night. I was lucky that the prediction I made in The Cafe last week was incorrect. We for the most part avoided snow this past week. We had a small ice storm Monday morning but that was about it. This new storm has added about seven inches.

I'm hoping the next week goes well, but I fear that the storm that is currently terrorizing Texas and other parts of South is going to work it's way up North. I'm praying that even if it doesn't warm up that March will at least stop with the snow.
