She seems like a sweet little girl, right? Wrong! She's a murderer!

This is one of those movies that local stations ran on Sunday afternoons when I was a kid. Movies about bad kids were not as highly rotated as films about other subjects.

Have you ever seen a made for TV movie called, "A Girl Named Sooner" - 1975?

It's about a little girl, abandoned by her real parents, and she becomes the ward of a childless couple. I remember this movie because of a scene where Sooner kills her pet bird while trying to make new friends with other children.

Lee Remick and Richard Crenna, seem unable to understand that an abandoned child may not have the social skills to handle situations with multiple children, conflicted by the desire to make friends at all costs.
