It's a question 18 years in the making, which sequel do you prefer?

I actually liked The Lost World better, but the dinosaur selection from JP3 was better.

The Lost World was the better movie.

Can't imagine why so many didn't like it. People are hard to please.

I like 75% of the Lost World and about 25% of Jurassic Park 3 lol

I'm probably the only person who will say it, but Jurassic Park 3 is the one I like more. It wasn't just retreading the same things from the first film like The Lost World did. It was a lot more thrilling and action packed compared to the second one, and the characters weren't as annoying or dumb as the characters from the second one.

It was also just more... self-aware than the second one. 3 understood in the grand scheme of things that it wasn't this huge and revolutionary film like the first one was. The Lost World on the other hand presented itself as being this massive ordeal that you had to go see.

I'm going to have to go ahead and disagree with you there. I found Tea Leoni's character to be EXTREMELY annoying, especially all the screaming she does. I kinda hoped she would get eaten.
