When I was in grade school this film short from 1968 was mandatory viewing. One teacher gave a pop quiz on this film. Anyway, here's a brief glimpse of the world of 1968 before the rise of computers.

Hiya eddstarr, thanks for sharing another great video! I see some similar techniques and vibes to early Sesame Street. I wonder if Saul Bass or anybody else involved with this ever worked there. Or maybe it’s just the flavor of the time. Either way, I love it!

Believe it or not this is a short film about "Creativity", one of the atributes that seperates humans from the other creatures of the earth. Now how do you show creativity on video? A painting, a dance movement, the chorus of a song?  This film short, "Why Man Creates", may not have been the best example to answer that question, however I did find it entertaining - in a retro-60's kinda way!!!
