Looks like a sequel to the original two films is finally moving forward. With Ivan's son at the helm, and some original cast members (hopefully) involved, will we, at long last, get the taste of that awful reboot out of our mouths?

sucks that the video game isn't canon anymore, it really felt like the third movie.

The game felt like a rehash of the first two. Not enough original stuff to make it feel like a real sequel, but it was still great to hear the voices of the cast together again

i think they just wanted to give a loveletter to the fans, mostly. i actually enjoyed taking on staypuft

I feel like 9 times out of 10, the hype behind these movies is greater than the movie itself. A few times the finished product delivers, but that's rare.

 

The first full trailer has been released... what are your thoughts?

 

Funny thing, the game was based off of scrapped ideas from the films.

I'm in. hopefully it'll make us forget about the 2016 trainwreck

I also find it hilarious that they're writing it as if that 2016 abomination didn't happen.
