I don't truly know, but my guess is somebody wanted to avoid questions like "how dare you use a wild animal to advertise when you destroy the environment?"

If it weren't for this thread causing me to look this stuff up, I would have thought the company stopped using the tiger entirely. I haven't seen him since the spill but apparently they continued to use him in many locations.

Just all the images of ducks being cleaned off by environmental people. Bad deal.
