What in Heaven's name is this?
Whatever it is, it doesn't look something Jim Henson would approve of. I hope it doesn't hit theaters.

Ummm. What's up with you guys? crow and Vaporman. I mean, Sesame Street was great don't get me wrong I would never dispute that. And it was family friendly entertainment that taught us how to act, much like Mister Rogers, and in my opinion it's very important for us as a society to have that kind of valuable touchstone of childhood, and for it to be widely distributed and seen. It's not as much consumed now. I wish it was. Kids aren't so into it because there's more options, which are more exciting, and maybe that's unfortunate. I'm not sure how that should be addressed. But Jim Henson also made entertainment for adults, and there's nothing wrong with that either. I mean, he did so from the beginning of his career. Really. Check out his other projects. The Muppet Show to begin with, but so much more. I think it's wonderful that he was able to use that talent to engage children and have the kind of impact that he did on us. It's very much along the same lines as other people who created for both children and adults, such as Roald Dahl, Dr. Seuss, and Shel Silverstein who had a lot of his work published in Playboy magazine. So what's the problem with this? I mean, if I didn't know better I would say it sounds like you guys are "easily offended" |

I felt the same about Chris Rock. He was one of the worst ever SNL cast members, but somehow he remains popular. It confuses me to the point of disgust. I do wish McCarthy and Rock well in any other career though. You love this signature.

Rock is fine
McCarthy probably shouldn't be headlining movies but is fine as a goofy side character Leslie Jones however, has ZERO talent. I looked up "funniest" bits just to see if I missed anything but nope, it's all the same- her getting angry and yelling at people. |

Oh and back to the movie.
I actually like the "idea" of the Happytime Murders, sort of like Who Framed Roger Rabbit but in the muppetverse. However, the trailer was bad, like really bad. Not funny, just repulsive. |

McCarthy reminds me a lot of Kevin Hart: someone who is talented and funny, but whose early success and popularity led to them being given too much work at once. Essentially, she's had too much overexposure and now we're wishing she would just stop for a little bit.
I don't really have problem with Happytime Murders as a concept, just what it actually is. It seems like an odd concept for a film. This idea would work out better as recurring sketch on sketch comedy show in my opinion. *Insert funny signature here*
