Yesterday, I was listening to the Nine Inch Nails' debut album, Pretty Hate Machine, and now I wanna listen to more of their music. It's a good album, but it doesn't feel too much like a rock album, which is what I would expect from these rock stars. It feels more like synthetic pop.

Lately I've been loving Bob Seger. I always did like his stuff, but only in the last year have I bought any of his albums.

I don't have any new retro faves but I can talk about the NIN.
broken, Nine Inch Nails' second album, is the heaviest. Also the shortest, with only four "real" songs. But the best imo and if you are looking for rock it's the one to listen to. If you can get your hands on any concerts from 1994-95 they rock pretty hard too. You could also check out Option 30 |

I tried getting into Sonic Youth, but I didn't really care for their music.
