So, the other day, I was watching the Dexter Laboratory's short where Dee-Dee went to Space Camp and Dexter went to some Amish camp out in the middle of nowhere, and I was reminded of all the talk about Space Camp I heard on TV as a kid. I was always interested in going to camp like that. I remember seeing advertisements for TV all the time. Unfortunately I never did go, most likely because my parents couldn't afford it.
Most of my summer camp experience was built around going to the local town run summer camp when it was being run during the summer. I only went for a few summers, and it wasn't really all that fun to be honest. It would probably make for a funny article to write one day. You want to talk about sudden realizations too? As I was writing out this exact forum post, I just realized that it's been ten years since I was last at that summer camp. *Insert funny signature here*

Good memory.

I never went to any camp. Space camp looks like fun. They used to give it away as a prize on Nickelodeon game shows. There are camps for adults to go to like baseball fantasy camp or rock camp.

I think Space Camp should be made for adults. too. If adults can't be astronauts, they should at least know what it's like to be one.

I think Space Camp does or did have an adults program.
