How does it compare to that crappy Pac-man port? Is it any better?

I remember having that game and feeling disappointed by how much it differed from the arcade look.

I just remember the line from Wayne's World where the arcade owner guy tells Wayne that the big difference between Pac-Man and Ms Pac-Man is that she has a bow on her head

I remember one time at my local skating rink, they had this contest to see who could rack up the most points in either Pac-Man or Ms. Pac-Man. I'm not sure which. The winner got money.

The port of Ms Pac-Man is far superior to the port of the original Pac-Man on the Atari 2600. It wasn't rushed, and it shows that some care was actually taken to replicate the gameplay.

That said, it isn't going to be as good as the arcade version...but then again, none of the Atari 2600 games were.
