As for us, we are going to Gatlinburg TN next week for a week of fun at Dollywood, the Ripley's attractions, dinner shows, go-carts, bumper boats, and more. The kids are really excited, as they've never been to Dollywood before.

Cool man that sounds like fun! Are you going to hit up some of the famous TN bbq joints along the way?

@echidna64.....the good Memphis style Tennessee BBQ will be on the other side of the state, but there is a pretty good bbq joint inside of Dollywood that we'll lunch at one day. www.retroramblings.com

Hiking, camping, rock climbing, canyoneering in Imlay Canyon in Zion National Park, and more camping. I will also be competing in a few Jiu-Jitsu tournaments so wish me luck.

I'll be heading to Chicago twice this August. One time will be for my high school reunion, and the other time will be for my annual trip to Wizard World.

Yes I have. There are 6 caves just above my house.

I don't have much planned for vacation right now. Right now I'm mainly focused on my job for the summer. My grandfather and I have however talked about taking a trip to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, as well as seeing the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame since it's also in the same area. That would be cool.

I'm probably not doing too much. I already had a decent vacation last month or so at Pigeon Forge. I had fun! I don't have enough time off at this point to go anywhere else this summer.

Well, the first day of family vacation here in Pigeon Forge / Gatlinburg TN has been a lot of fun. The girls got to go to the Ripley's Aquarium, go-cart racing, bumper boat riding, and had plenty of time in the pool at the hotel. We also went to the Ripley's 5-D moving theater, and the first feature was a Roadrunner and Wile E. Coyote short where you "felt the pain" of the Coyote. It was pretty neat.
