Did anyone participate today? I hadn't been in about five years, but one of my local shops had a Kevin Eastman signing (co-creator of the Ninja Turtles) so I had go. He was super nice and I had him sign a variant cover of the Batman/TMNT and a variant he did for the free TMNT comic today. 

Unfortunately my local shop shutdown last summer so I couldn't.

I don't have a store in the town I live in. There is a used bookstore that stocks some new releases about twenty minutes away but the next closest store is about forty-five minutes. Luckily, our comic sales have been strong we've got new stores popping up everywhere. 

my local library once hosted a free comic book day, complete with boxes of regular comics to purchase. scored a couple of spawn and batman comics but they didn't last long in my house lol. parents sold 'em at a yard sale to try to make ends meet paying off bills while i was in school.

Closest shop to me is in Athens, Ohio... and it looks like it's more of a D&D den than a comic shop now

this is he first time in 6 years that i had comic shop  close enough  it just opened in February  and i got a zelda comic and a wonder woman and  a gaurdians of the galaxy  but they didn't have the the startrek tng mirror verse book  and when i went through there  they didn't have the tick issue out but my brother went through and got me a copy. 

Didn't go this year, went last year and scored The Killing Joke.
