I was so sure the 21st century would pick up where the 20th century left off.
The 1990's were Awesome. For me, I call the first decade of the 21st century the "naughts". |

I'm not good with coming up with catchy slogans but I'd imagine it having something to do with the web blowing up the way it did. Or perhaps something to do with Social media and how rewarding it is for narcissists.

I've heard people call this decade 2010-2019 "the new tens". I remember at the turn of the millennium there was a some debate about what to name it back then. I call it the "zero zeros" or the "2000s".

I call them the 00s, pronounced oh-ohs. That's just what I'm used to.

Yeah, I just call them the 2000's (two thousands). And this decade the 20-10's (twenty tens).
But as for a catchy all encompassing slogan, I'm not sure what that would be. How about "The Decade That Wished It Could Be A Different One!" You love this signature.

@Vapor:
"How about 'The Decade That Wished It Could Be A Different One!'" That's what we'll be calling the future decades from now on. "If you think a 401K is your mother-in-law's bra size, you might be a redneck."
