I've never seen the original since it aired before my time, but I always thought it sounded like a cool idea for a TV show. I'll probably check this out if it has at least one or two people I recognize, but my gut is telling me that it'll have D list stars.

Yeah I'd say it's success or failure will depend on the talent involved. I like the original even though I didn't get around to watching it much. I remember seeing an episode with the folks from WKRP in Cincinnati.
