Poor son of a gun. How frustrating would it be to live the same day repeatedly?

My father and grandfather both claim that it feels like they are going through groundhog day over and over again because of the repetitiveness.

I was almost going to go to Punxsutawney today to see the groundhog until I found out it was 4 hours away. Maybe I'll watch this instead.

This was always one of my favorite Bill Murray movies. I especially like the section of the film where Murray's character has kind of resigned himself to his fate and just doesn't care anymore about what happens. Funny stuff.

There was a really funny deleted scene that I watched on the DVD where during Murray's insane period he takes a chainsaw and cuts off all the heads of the ice statues that were seen when he was courting Rita. I don't know why they cut that from the film because it was actually really funny.

Did everyone's alarm clock play "I Got You Babe" this morning?
