The idea of a town run by murderous kids is quite scary. Very fitting in the horror movie universe.

I feared this movie growing up. I really did not like it at all. Few movies were as unsettling as this one to me for some reason. And then years later when my wife wanted to name one of our children Malachi, I was like "No, nuh-uh, never happening".

When I first saw this, I asked myself "Will I ever build up the courage to watch it again?" I finally did later on in life.
