I had intended to post about this sooner, but the forum being down prevented that. I suppose it's not really news anymore, but I think that The Brady Bunch counts as a big enough part of retro pop culture to merit a thread for this.

Two things I remember Florence Henderson for: The Brady Bunch, and Weird Al's "Amish Paradise" video. LOL. Two things I enjoy a lot. Old shows and Weird Al music. And she was a part of both. Going to miss Mrs. Brady.

As much as I loved Florence Henderson I wanted to see her in another project. I'm one of those guys that never got into The Brady Bunch.

The world was growing up faster than television and The Brady Bunch was an example of a show that seemed 10 years too late - a throwback to a much earlier time.

That takes nothing away from Florence. Her career was both stage and screen. She was an excellent dancer and singer. Her popularity took-off after The Brady Bunch left the air and I'm so glad I got to see her on all the late-night talk shows.

So now all three adults are now deceased? How depressing.

Yes, it is. So eerie that all the adults are gone, yet the others still remain.

It is very sad to think that all three adults from the show are gone. Though I knew that each of them had passed away, I hadn't thought about it like that until now.

I'm surprised that the girl who played Marcia didn't die. I think she admitted to taking meth.

I'm not sure about meth specifically, but she's definitely admitted to taking cocaine and other drugs in the past.

Mr Magic
Still, it amazes me drugs didn't take her life.
