Yup. One of the major found footage films is getting a sequel.

Thats cool for fans of the whole lost footage genre and of the first film. I don't think anyone was expecting this, so its really a cool surprise. I'm not a fan, but I'm sure there are a lot of excited people out there.

Not sure if I'm into these movies which make it appear to have been filmed by amateurs with camcorders. If I wanted to watch them I'd go see my home videos instead.

I watched the trailer, and it doesn't look like its going to be found footage based. Actually, the trailer was pretty intense and looks d*mn interesting. I loved the cover of Tiffany's I Think Were Alone Now. 

Yeah, that's definitely not found footage style, which I think is a plus for the film. The whole found footage thing has kind of run it's course.

That's one helluva trailer - now you've got my attention.
