I'd figured why not create a thread where we can discuss sports from both the past and the present? We can talk about anything sports related in here.

Alabama or Clemson.

Take your pick.

Since I'm a Michigan State fan, I'm hoping Clemson wins this one.

I watched this happen live:

I was a Dodgers fan at the time. To know I was able to witness this historic event happen on TV live makes me smile every time.

Who remembers this little gem courtesy of George Brett?

George talks about it on the 30th anniversary of the incident:

Well, we are now two games into the NFL Playoffs. The Texans showed us that they shouldn't of been in that playoff game, and the Bengals showed us that not only are their players ***holes, but so are their fans.

You aren't kidding. That was just terrible. Between the fans throwing stuff at an injured Ben Roethlisberger, that absolutely disgusting hit on Antonio Brown, that made the Bengals as an organization look totally classless. I was so glad that they ended up blowing it at the end.

I do not understand why the NFL refuses to step in and do something about these out of control players. You had Odell Beckham a few weeks ago at Carolina, and Burfict during this game. Also, how does a player get an interception, run it the opposite direction on the field and into the locker room and not get a penalty?
