As a kid, I would sometimes find myself watching an episode of One Day At A Time. I'm not really sure why. I don't remember if it was just because it proceeded for followed another show, or if I just happen to catch it on often. For whatever reason, I became familiar with the characters, and was especially entertained by the super of the apartment building that Bonnie Franklin's character and daughters lived in.
Schneider was over confident, a bit dim, and a little obnoxious, but he was also lovable. He made the show worth watching.
