I'm addicted to this movie. That's how fond I am of it. It's funny and charming.
Gotta love that Australian countryside.
Babe was in danger of becoming a porkchop sandwich. Thankfully, that wasn't the case.

I liked the sequel more.

It was alright imo. The original is better to me.

Did anybody also read the book. I don't want to spoil it if you haven't, but it is a lot different from the movie.

I never read it. I'm interested in how different it is.

I too loved this movie. My dad would recite the secret Ba Ram You line often. Guys at the gym will compliment me after a lift with, "That'll do pig."

Heck of a compliment!
The film makes me miss Christine Cavanaugh. She was gone too soon. "If you think a 401K is your mother-in-law's bra size, you might be a redneck."

About the book some of the characters are different/missing.

Babe was pretty popular upon release. I recall a lot of hype surrounding the movie. It was a good film. I haven't seen it in many years.
Still, My favorite "pig" movie will always be Charlotte's Web (the 1973 cartoon). You love this signature.

Oh, I see. I bet the story itself is still good, different or not.
