Who says animation is dead? HA!

But seriously, this is a Halloween film per se. A very good one, I might add. This has been around for 20 years and has become a favorite of mine. Definitely one of the better cartoon-adapted films. It's something that kids and adults can enjoy.

I like that it has a cameo of Dan Ackroyd as a Ghostbuster.

You love this signature.

As I mentioned in my highest-rated RetroJunk article "My Life And My Father's Death", "Casper" was a very cathartic movie for me to watch after my Dad died. If I ever interview Sherri Stoner (who co-wrote this movie), I'll definitely have some questions to ask her about this.

The movie has aged well and still entertaining. I miss those gothic films aimed at children.

The artwork of the poster sure doesn't look like it aged much. At least from my perspective.

I remember loving this movie when I was younger, but it has been so long since I have seen it. I may need to add this into the rotation of Halloween specials I watch this year.

I feel the urge to watch it this Halloween season myself. It wouldn't feel right not to.
