I really liked Robert Zemeckis's other works:

Forrest Gump
Back to the Future
Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
Flight
Cast Away

And I feel this new film of his has the potential to rank up there with his previously winning ones.

He is definitely one of my all time favorite directors so I will be excited to see his take on such a fascinating piece of history. 

I liked a lot of Zemeckis' work, but I'm just not feeling this flick. 

Just the thought of attempting a walk like this would make me break a sweat.

Me either. I'm just not that interested in the story of some dude who thought it would be fun to walk a wire and stare in the face of death. Unless the buildings explode or somebody is shooting at him. I might check it out then.

I've never known Robert to make a bad movie, but I guess things change.
