I'm a fan of most of the movies he has been in. One of my guilty pleasure movies is Simone. The script may not have been all that great, but I think he did well with the material he had to work with in it.
But of course, his work in The Godfather movies are my favorites. Carlito's way is really good, and one of his latest, Stand Up Guys is a fun movie. www.retroramblings.com

I should point out that his performance in Dog Day Afternoon was superb as well. That's a film that needs to remain untouched.
