I have a PC question for anyone who knows anything about them: would a game that runs on Windows XP/Vista run a Windows 10?

I'm not sure. If not though, you could download one of those Virtual Machine softwares out there. They create a "pretend" PC using the resources of yours, and you can load it with Windows XP or Vista to run the game.

I don't have Windows 10, so speaking theoretically, based on an earlier version of the question (i.e., will a game for Windows 95 run in XP?):

Some of them do and some of them don't. It depends on how much of the code is dependent on parts of the OS that have been removed or drastically changed. I believe there is a good chance, since I haven't heard anything about 10 having a new kernel, and that's usually a pretty big deal.

I think it depends on the game and what technologies were used to develop it. So it's really a case by case basis. You would have to do some research for it.

I wondered when the resident computer whiz would pop in on this topic.
