a rather dark but unique fighting series by capcom, darkstalkers pits a collection of surreal characters in a gothic settng. the series started out in 1994, and ended in 1997



even though we haven't seen a brand new installment yet, there has been a few arcade ports here and there. the first three games are available on the playstation, and there's a mix of all of them in the psp anthology, darkstalkers chronicle

The stylistic design of the characters in this game still impresses me even today. That is the most memorable aspect of it IMHO.

i absolutely love the art style. being a semi-goth i've always tried emulating its style for some of my past drawings.

from what i've heard too, capcom was going to give us a new darkstalkers game if sales on street fighter IV did well. though this was back around 2009 but nobody's really talked about it, so it must have been a rumor of sorts

Darkstalkers is a very good game i still play it.
I love all the Capcom fighters.

One of my favorite fightig games. Also the Marvel versus Capcom series
