It is only a development server, so don't post any content or anything (unless you're just testing out a feature).

 

Only some minor details remain to be worked on. So, we should have all the goodies here at the home server quite soon.

• Some content is not on that development server, so some images and such are missing.
• Some features like Forum Posts History need some changes, so that will happen prior to coming over.

condensed forum comments list - Confusing. Is it done? This is not the thing about removing avatars from the thread list, is it? I don't get the utility of seeing the comments out of context, and I can't click them to see the thread itself. I'd rather this were a condensed thread list, so that I can see more than four threads on the index page.

quote function - It's OK. Could it be made to have the quoted poster's name above their text? And bolded? This would help especially for nested quotes. Like so:

comment counter on videos - good idea. Will this be applied to articles too?

The comment list is a means of sorting thread replies. So, if you want to simply view all the latest replies to any thread in the order it was posted, you can (or by thread, poster, etc).

You can click on the little magnifying glass in the rightmost column to view a particular reply at the actual thread's page.

The 'remove avatars' button only works for the current view. It does the thing, but the next time you view the thread list, they are back.

I tried out the condensed forum comments thing and get a error message. It also seems to be the same list from the test version.

I could swear both of these things worked right last week.

Yeah. It seems that once you leave the Forum page, the avatars are back. Maybe I can have that taken care of.

The condensed forum comments list seems to be working fine right now. I have not noticed any errors.

I see what now. The comment list defaults to oldest first (At least, on my computer). Only the first four posts listed are affected. They seem to exist outside of any thread as the thread column for those is blank. That would explain the error. Everything after that works.

Those early posts were test posts and were deleted prior to launching the site. Apparently deleting them outside of the Admin Panel does not do away with them completely. I'll clean those up some, and see about these new suggestions. Thanks shakin!
