Naturally I'm going to go with the 80's. Only because of my partiality to the toons I watched in my youth. If I were trying to be really objective about it though, I'm not sure what time period to go with. You have to consider not just feature films, but television shows as well. That's not easy.

my favorite cartoons came on from 1987 to about 1997 i was not born until 89 but they replayed the real ghost busters and stuff like that for some time i remember usa used to show tmnt wildcats and real ghostbuster all close together on weekdays then i discovered fox kids which was the best block ever in my opinion.

This is actually a hard question to answer since I enjoy past animation and present animation. Though I'd have to say the 1990s AND the 2010s. Why? Well both have shows with clever writing, great animation and even gets away with things that normally wouldn't make it. The two best examples are Rocko's Modern Life from the 1990s and Gravity Falls from 2010s. The writing is clever in both shows and they have good stories. The animation was pretty good though that's a given in the 2010s with better technology. It's something that I feel that while yes I'm nostalgic is hard because there are truly good cartoons on in this day and age.
