You either loved him, or you loathed him, but one thing is certain... Christian Laettner has an NCAA legacy that even the greatest NBA pros would love to have had.
A recent ESPN 30 for 30 Documentary simply titled "I Hate Christian Laettner" has just come out, and I look forward to watching it.
Laettner himself live Tweeted fans as they watched, and he even apologized for his infamous "stepping on" a Kentucky player in a short Twitter video. That takes a little class.
I myself was NOT a fan of NCAA basketball. But, for some reason I found myself watching the Final Four for two straight years, ending with Duke's second Championship in four years and the end of Laettner's college career (he didn't do so well in the NBA afterward).
Laettner's most memorable moment is, of course, "The Shot". If you ask any college basketball fan what the most memorable moment in college basketball history is... "The Shot" is likely to be their answer.
Err... wait... it's this one...
Do you recall anything about Laettner?

I love Duke. Kentucky, Michigan and Kansas fans need to grow up about Laettner.
