I remember from childhood Bayer Chewable Asprin for Children, and just like St. Joseph's Asprin for Children, it was orange flavored.

It must have been the idea behind a chewable daily brand of vitamins named, Chocks. Chocks Chewable Multi-Vitamins was introduced in 1960 by Miles Laboratories, famous as the makers of Alka Seltzer.

Like any product aimed at children, Chocks commercials ran on Saturday mornings throughout the decade. By 1968, everything on TV had that multi-window, Yellow Submarine/Brady Bunch vibe (before Brady Bunch, lol).

I instantly think of Flintstones vitamins obviously, but there was another brand that my mom gave us. It was round, the size of a quarter, and chalky. I think it was a vitamin C one, and the orange flavor was okay. The cherry however was vomit-inducing!

That's very interesting. I remember when Military Circle Mall opened in Norfolk, VA, in 1970. They had the first GNC store in town, with their own brand of children's vitamins.

Only the GNC brands were available as single, as well as, multiple vitamins.
