44683Christmas Nostalgia & More!
I'm not having much of a Christmas this year. The most I'm getting is a handheld Carmen Sandiego game I got for myself, and then since my mom's brother is paying for gifts for the both of us, I asked for a t-shirt that has the giant mechanical condor from The Mysterious Cities of Gold on it
RetroSnob88Dec 19, 2019View
44682Forgotten Cartoons
Speaking of Toxic Crusaders, how crazy was that a film that was pretty much X Rated got a Saturday morning show. Not even Ron Jeremy got one of those in his heyday
RetroSnob88Dec 19, 2019View
44681Forgotten Cartoons
much like toxic crusaders, it surprises me that they got far enough to have a video game despite its very short run.

BenjanimeDec 19, 2019View
44680Forgotten Cartoons
@Benjanime - Oh god I forgot about that show. That came out during the troll doll hype of the early 1990's (back when those creepy things were everywhere: Billboards, t-shirts, breakfast cereals, lunchboxes, Mad Magazines, etc)
RetroSnob88Dec 19, 2019View

44678Happy belated 30th anniversary to The Wizard (90 Minute commercial for Nintendo and Universal Studios Hollywood)
well since lucas' actor is going to be featured in one of the commentaries of the blu ray, hopefully he won't make it awkward.
BenjanimeDec 19, 2019View
44677Happy belated 30th anniversary to The Wizard (90 Minute commercial for Nintendo and Universal Studios Hollywood)

Awesome. Oh, fun fact: In spite of thr film being panned by critics and people s*** talking the film, most of the cast members actually have reunions for this film. I say most because the kid who plays Lucas is a registered sex offender. Apparently he couldn't keep his power gloves off the children like Fred Savage told him to
RetroSnob88Dec 19, 2019View

44675Forgotten Cartoons
@Vaporman87 - Speaking of Wolfman Jack, did you know that back in the 1980's, he had his own Saturday Morning cartoon? Wolf TV. Because the show used a lot of copyrighted music videos it has never been released on DVD or for streaming and likely never will be since the music videos made up a good chunk of the show. It is considered the only Dic (guys who did it. They also made Inspector Gadget, the 2nd iteration of Heathcliff, The Real Ghostbusters, Ulysses 31, The Mysterious Cities of Gold, and those bad Nintendo cartoons just to name the bajillions of shows they did as a studio) show that is lost because of this. Anyway, Wolf TV hasn't aired since it was new in 1985 and probably never will air again considering there was more demand for GI Joe and Teddy Ruxpin than there was for Wolf TV in those days
RetroSnob88Dec 19, 2019View
