Chevrolet was jealous of the way Pontiac sold thousands of the Firebird Esprit as a "luxury trim" version. Chevy wanted the Berlinetta to be a "luxury trim" Camaro - aiming to increase sales to women while the guys lusted after the Z/28.</p> <p>For 1984-1985 a special edition of the Berlinetta called "Starship" was the ultimate luxury Camaro. Starship Berlinettas were always fully loaded with every option in the Camaro catalog, especially the 305 V8.</p> <p>It's not in the video but the "command pods" on either side of the steering wheel were adjustable!
