| 46195 | Cartoon "Sandwich" Time | <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>I lost count of the number of times I mentioned on RetroJunk the saga of Hanna-Barbera vs. Filmation after 1965.</p> <p>After all these years I'm still trying to imagine the pressure H-B was under following the overwhelming success of Filmation's, "The NEW Adventures of Superman", followed quickly by every Superhero varient Filmation could get green-lit!</p> <p>Superman, Aquaman, Batman, the Justice League and even the Teen Titans - by 1967 Filmation was in charge of Saturday Mornings across TV America!</p> <p>What in the world was Hanna-Barbera to do? Anything and Everything!!!</p> <p>From 1966 to 1969, H-B was throwing every idea they had at the Big-3 networks.
