| 4152 | RetroDaze Halloween Special | So far, 26 people from Facebook have signed up to attend the Halloween Special. If we can get just 1/5th of them to actually attend (register/enter the theater) it should be nice little crowd with those of us who are regulars also showing up. | 4151 | Samsung Galaxy Gear Commercial | I heard the watch itself was rushed in order for Samsung to be the first on the market. Not only that, but you have to have a Samsung phone in order for this to work. I think I'll wait for when better Smartwatches arrive on the market... preferably, one that works with Motorola Droid phones. | blueluigi | Oct 09, 2013 | ![]() |
| 4150 | Bringing back a retro product. | I actually didn't know until about a few years ago that these were taken off the market. It'd be nice to see those again. Although, to be fair, Butterfinger Snackerz is as close to Butterfinger BBs as we currently have. | blueluigi | Oct 09, 2013 | ![]() |

| 4148 | Things you don't like about this era. | Well, at least that much can be said for the mother. I myself have also never watched an episode of the show. I do, however, poke fun at it at the very end of the Halloween special. | Vaporman87 | Oct 09, 2013 | ![]() |
| 4147 | Your Teachers | I'm friends with my main elementary school teacher on Facebook. She's very nice, and although I call her by her first name online, I still refer to her the way I did when I was a student when I see her in person. My 10th-12th grade homeroom teacher, on the other hand, I haven't spoken to since I graduated in 2001. I sent her a letter earlier this year after having found her contact info on MyLife, but she never sent a letter back. I think I may have alienated her with comments I made about my high school days in various RetroJunk articles, but I still want to speak to her again, if only so I could tell her what I'm doing now. | Caps 2.0 | Oct 09, 2013 | ![]() |
| 4146 | Things you don't like about this era. | I have never seen the Honey Boo Boo show. I can understand the distaste for it. But before criticizing the family, I think it's important to know:
Mama June said :
the earnings all go to trust funds for the kids "I want my kids to look back and say, 'Mama played it smart. Not like those other reality TV people,'" "Never gonna live above my means."
USA Today | shakin steak | Oct 09, 2013 | ![]() |

Since about 2009, society has been reaching new lows in regards to children.

Also, the internet access that children have is also disturbing. They are only a mouse-click away from adult material and I hate that ten year olds can and often do access things that they are simply too young to grasp.
I wish people would stop focusing on Honey Boo Boo. She's not worth watching. | Mr Magic | Oct 09, 2013 | ![]() |
| 4144 | Things you don't like about this era. | It's gotten to where there isn't much parenting going on anymore. Teens are more rebellious than ever, and parents don't lift a finger to stop them. | Mr Magic | Oct 09, 2013 | ![]() |

A simple way to keep this from happening is to limit a child's use of the computer to only certain spaces in the home, and under some supervision. Also, only giving them access to mobile devices with no data services. | Vaporman87 | Oct 09, 2013 | ![]() |
