| 5937 | Virtual Console Thursdays | Well, here's a rather late update on this week's Virtual Console releases. For those who do not know, Nintendo has been going through a lot of server problems throughout the wake of Christmas. This is due to Pokemon Bank causing a lot of server issues, and because more people got a Wii U and 3DS that it made their online network crash. There was a list of eShop games that's been posted online, but I wanted to wait until the eShop was fully back up before I did so. Now that I was able to log on this morning with no problem, then it looks like Nintendo's server problems are now over. I think now would be the right time for post this week's Virtual Console releases.<br><br>Week of 12/26/2013:<br><br><b>Wii U Virtual Console:<br><br></b>Super Punch Out (SNES)<br>$7.99<br><img src="/images/postImages/1388438614cover_large.jpg"><br><br><b>3DS Virtual Console:<br><br></b>Mario Tennis (GBC)<br>$5.99<br><img src="/images/postImages/1388438702300px-MarioTennisGBC.jpg"><br><br>Super Punch-Out was a game that I reviewed quite a while ago back when I was still frequently doing video game reviews on Youtube. Needless to say, it got the most hate. Looking back at it, I did seem a bit harsh on it, and I could have done better on naming some good aspects of it to balance it out with the bad. Although, I still stand by what I said before about it being not that good of a sequel to the Mike Tyson's Punch-Out on the NES. It just never appealed to me that much.<br><br>By the way, it's the last week of 2013, and STILL no Super Mario Bros 3. And one event in particular that occurred on our return trip the first time down there, when our tire went flat and we were scouring the nearby countryside for a tire shop.
