6570Remember when TNT and TBS showed cartoons?I did not get TBS on my cable provider until years later. As for TNT, I never really watched it as a kid, so I don't ever recall seeing cartoons air on the network.
blueluigiFeb 05, 2014View

6568100 old newspaper adsLove these old ads. We still have an ad from many, many years ago (when my family was in the furniture business) that has several sets of living room and bedroom furniture for only $300 or $400! Nowadays you can't buy a chair for your kitchen table for that.
Vaporman87Feb 05, 2014View

6566Remember when TNT and TBS showed cartoons?I remember these days. I think I tended to watch TBS and USA more than TNT. TNT seemed to always be airing black and white movies and sports. Sports I would occasionally like watching, but it was always teams I didn't care about on TNT for the most part.
Vaporman87Feb 04, 2014View

They wanted to portray the events as serious competition, despite the somewhat silly or childlike nature of the "games". I think they did an admirable job of making the case for the events as "sport". But down deep, like while watching 80's wrestling, you just know something about it is not real.
-end quote

You have a point there. Especially when 11 year olds were doing the same thing on GUTS.
vkimoFeb 04, 2014View

We did have something like that in place for a time, but it wasn't working properly and I never bothered to get it fixed. :/
Vaporman87Feb 04, 2014View

6561Teenage Mutant Ninja TurtlesIf the Ninja Turtles movie is good, I'll eat a little crow. But I don't know if it will make up for some of what he did with the Transformers. Some parts were great... like bringing in Peter Cullen for voicing Prime, and Leonard Nimoy for Sentinel Prime, but some parts... namely Megan Fox, Rose Huntington, and Shia Lebouf, and killing off favorites, and those two little goofball Transformers, and... well, you get the picture. Eh, we'll see. I'll reserve judgment for after I've seen this movie.

Vaporman87Feb 04, 2014View
