47154	Godzilla vs Kong	<p>I just got back from it. I liked it. It was pretty fun, better than King of the Monsters. My original hypothesis was incorrect, but I immeadiately predicted the correct twist involving MechaGodzilla when the girl was listening to the podcast from the insider at the beginning. MechaGodzilla's design wasn't bad, though I think the Ready Player One version was better compared to this one.</p> <p>I know the future of the series is up in the air right now. I hope they manage to get one last Godzilla film made. It would form a nice little trilogy and be a good ending to this storyline. As far as what the next film might entail, I don't know. Everyone was expecting Mecha King Ghidorah after the events of KOTM, but this film removes the possibility of that happening.</p> <p>I think they would aim for at least 3-4 monsters for the next one. I think they might bring back one classic monster, I don't know who. As far as the main villain, it will probably be Destroyah. They brought in the Oxygen Destroyer in the last film, so it ties into his original backstory. Given he is the most powerful monster of Godzilla's foes, he would make for the a great villain for the final film.</p>	Rick Ace Rhodes	Apr 02, 2021

47149	It's "Ask Dr. Science"!	<p>It was a sign of the times. There was a flourish of quirky science characters appearing, via local television, all over the country in the 80's. Some became popular enough to go national and I bet you know one in particular.</p> <p>Bill Nye was a Boeing engineer in 1984 when original show host, Ross Shafer, invited him on his Seattle local comedy show, "<strong>Almost Live</strong>",  to demostrate science concepts, on-stage, in front of a live audience. By 1988, "Almost Live", expanded to one hour, got a new host, John Keister, and Bill Nye became, "<em>The Science Guy</em>", appearing every week on the show.</p> <p>This clip, from 1990, features Bill Nye demonstrating what would happen inside a falling elevator if you jump in the air at the last possible moment.
