13005Salutations (as Charlotte's Web would say)
LepricahnsGold wrote :
... and am a 46 year old man.
-end quote

I have to say, it's nice to see another forty-something around here. :) Glad you popped into the forums finally LG.

Some of you probably don't know, but LG has been hard at work adding to our VHS Cover library, for which I am grateful.
Vaporman87Oct 25, 2014View
13004More cover scans
LepricahnsGold wrote :
...and Capacitance Electronic Disc (CED) (like LaserDisc but worked more like a vinyl record but were movie discs).
-end quote
Were those the format that you inserted into the player, then the disc slid out of it's case from inside the player?

Vaporman87Oct 25, 2014View
13003AlphabetizeYeah, you're right. The means of sorting VHS images is not that great. Basically when the VHS Cover gallery was added, it was left to simply sit there and draw in Google traffic (something it does very well, actually). But beyond that, it's really just been unexplored by most of us.

You are the first person to really make an effort to contribute in any significant way, so to have some feedback on it is overdue. Thanks for these good suggestions. :) I will add this to my list of ideas for the next site update.
Vaporman87Oct 25, 2014View
13002More cover scansI just thought about LaserDisc and was going to add that. Also, there were, at one time, formats called Betamax (like VHS tapes but bigger) and Capacitance Electronic Disc (CED) (like LaserDisc but worked more like a vinyl record but were movie discs).
LepricahnsGoldOct 25, 2014View
13001More cover scansI hadn't thought of 8-track and cassette tape covers. That would be cool. Maybe even laser disc covers. Something to consider for a future update.
Vaporman87Oct 25, 2014View

12998The GoldbergsI just want to mention that the prints of the personalized photo things were way too good for being 1980s quality. I remember my aunt and neighbor had those and the photos were always distorted and pixelated. pikachuloverOct 25, 2014View
