| 13618 | Majora's Mask 3D? WHY???? | The three day mechanic was not my problem. Majora's Mask was the gateway to the game series changing for the worse. As an experiment, a "side story", I never had a problem with it. But as time went on its principles became the guiding light for the series which is now about NPCs and puzzles more than combat, monsters, action and high fantasy setting. Where a labyrinth or palace was once a maze within an open world, now everything, dungeon and overworld alike, is completely scripted events along a carefully proscribed path that rewards no wandering, in fact barely even allows it except in backtracking.
