14627Christmas SongsI haven't had any, although perhaps if I change that it will kill this stupid song out of my head. Along with Rockin Around the Christmas Tree. The nonstop medley has got to go!
shakin steakDec 15, 2014View

14623CGI Popeye movieCGI, like most "digital" things, is infinitely replicable.

Whereas drawing (or painting, as traditional feature-length animation with a decent budget usually was) requires of at least one or two dozen artists a particular sweep of the hand for application of medium, once the character models are created computer animation requires only a plugging in of data points and keyframes by any number of technicians. Hopefully they retain the passion of animation and understand concepts such as squash and stretch, which I would believe in this case. But it is a very different kind of skill, much easier to do and learn and reproduce.

shakin steakDec 15, 2014View

It's depressing.

Vaporman87Dec 15, 2014View

14618CGI Popeye movieLooks pretty cool. I'm not a big fan of his voice though. It doesn't sound crusty enough.
shakin steakDec 15, 2014View
