| 14649 | CGI Popeye movie | "Live action? That sounds interesting."

It does. A live action Flintstones worked very well, so I could see this working well too.
| Mr Magic | Dec 16, 2014 | ![]() |
| 14648 | WTB: Nintendo games, etc. | I caught some decent deals on eBay. I was also referred to a book store that has loose carts, all for $2-5. I picked up four games there. And a family I know has a 10-year-old who's been collecting NES, I am going to hang out with him soon, maybe do some trades if he's willing.

Still looking for more though...Vaporman, did you see anything in Daddy's Closet? | shakin steak | Dec 16, 2014 | ![]() |

| 14640 | CGI Popeye movie |
thecrow174 wrote :
I heard something about the Jetsons coming back in live action form.
-end quote

Live action? That sounds interesting.

As for hand drawn animation versus CGI, I can't recall where I heard this but it was an interview about the topic and it described that younger generations only know CGI and that is what appeals to them. I have no idea how this information came to pass, but I could understand how that would be the case. However, I feel like certain movies would just be incredible with hand drawn animation. I think about Frozen or Tangled, and just how breathtaking those films could have been had they not been CGI. Not that they were bad the way they were, but I just really miss hand drawn movies.
| MissM | Dec 16, 2014 | ![]() |
