One time my gf asked me post myself on eBay (as a joke; we were long distance at the time) and I think I got in trouble because I didn't notice the fee and they hit me with late charges or something.

Vaporman87 wrote :
a cereal box display for Kellogg's brand cereals.
-end quote
Hey, it might not be quite as super cool to us--I certainly never stared in awe at a cereal display--but I could definitely make that work in my kitchen. And I know I'm not the only one.
shakin steakDec 30, 2014View
15031 @shakin: Those cabinets are awesome! The only thing I've seen for sale locally that would even come close to a cool store display for video games, was a cereal box display for Kellogg's brand cereals.
Vaporman87Dec 30, 2014View

15028 From my knowledge, listing is only like .30 cents no matter what price you ask for. On the other hand if it sells eBay usually takes 10% so for a 164,000 sale eBay gets a whopping 16k.
vkimoDec 30, 2014View

15025 I think echidna64 is right. But whatever force has enacted this sale, it must not be too strict, because it's been on for three months now, with no price reduction or anything. There have been almost 100 offers, none accepted. The listing was just renewed for another month.

vkimo, you sell on eBay. Isn't there a listing fee? Is it higher for higher price auctions? How much money is this person losing just to keep relisting?

To my point about the "custom" shelves earlier, here is some stuff that would make this collection truly special, an official display cabinet that was used in the toy stores when we were kids:

Less useful but still awesome, the demo unit...

All of that was totally captivating when my mom or dad would take me to Toys R Us. I could never ask for something, though. New Nintendo games were exclusively for Christmas. I would try to play the games for the 60 seconds allowed before reset, but mom would always rush me along. shakin steakDec 30, 2014View
15024Last Thing you Bought? My Sideshow War Machine Mark II arrived today. It's definitely got some weight to it (and therefore, plenty of diecast metal), but distinguishing what is or is not diecast is difficult. A testament to the design of the figure I suppose.
Vaporman87Dec 30, 2014View
