| 16299 | Retro-Daze let's get healthy! | I will have to take matters seriously... two weeks ago I played my first soccer match in more than eight years (I had a severe injury on my foot that kept me away from the field) and... it was a painful experience. Not only did I lose ALL my technique (I played the entire season 2007-2008, several matches a week) but I also couldn't keep up with the rival players. I had to be replaced less than twenty minutes in, which was incredibly humiliating for me.<br><br>Of course that I wasn't expecting to go back as Messi (that would be unrealistic, even as a dream) but I once was a really strong defender who rival players tried to avoid at all costs. *Sigh* It's gonna be a long way to return to my prior state.<br><br>I will start a severe diet full of protein, as well as to run several kilometers a week (and it won't hurt to practice with the ball either).<br> | Silvervix | Feb 04, 2015 | |
