Eddie from FotB, like you said, comes across as the douche-bag 'too cool for school' kid. Outside of punching the other kid for calling him a racist name, I can't think of one thing he's done thus far that's made him likable. I'm not sure if they intended that character to be that way, but in my opinion, they could take him completely out of the show and it would improve it immensely.
