17324How was your day?Finished making the last of my 3DS repairs from yesterday. Everything I've been having trouble with from last night has been fixed including the volume slider and error messages. The only thing now is that instead of the A button being sticky, and Y button is now the one that's sticky. Yeah, I think it might have to do with the system's rubber padding. I might either order a new ABXY rubber pad, or I'll just wait until I get the new 3DS. Also, it doesn't seem to connect to my internet. I might test my school's Wi-fi, and if that doesn't work, then I may need to tinker with the Wi-fi board a little to get that to work again. Otherwise, everything is successfully working.
blueluigiFeb 19, 2015View
17323How was your day?Tomorrow we're heading to Columbus to watch Disney On Ice. I'm not that thrilled about it, but I know the kids will enjoy it. Next week, we will be heading south to Florida once more. This year, we will be adding Universal Studios to our vacation schedule... not just the Disney parks. We'll also be staying on Disney property this year too, which will make it nice going to and from the Magic Kingdom and Epcot via Monorail.

Good riddance to this cold weather.
Vaporman87Feb 19, 2015View

But I can appreciate the hoopla of it all. I wish I could remember more about the original theatrical runs but, alas, I cannot. I would have been 3, 6, and 9 when they hit theaters, but my parents were not that interested other than buying me the merchandise (I had bed sheets, alarm clocks, toys, and just about anything else Star Wars related).
Vaporman87Feb 19, 2015View

I actually tried to collect them all at one point (Rangers and Zords) and I got sooooooo close, but I eventually gave up. It was a darn expensive hobby.
SilvervixFeb 19, 2015View

I was trying to avoid the name, actually :P I'm glad it didn't last much longer. First, because of how many lives were lost (both sides) and second, because my father was about to go. He was just about to get on the plane when it was all over.

SilvervixFeb 19, 2015View

17316Last Movie You WatchedI have never seen a Star Wars movie. I know all the jokes and stuff, because I'm online a lot. And they sound good enough. I love sci-fi, and adventure, so as a breaking point into mainstream culture for those, I kind of want to now. But, yknow, in high school everybody was like "omg you have to" and it sort of became a point of pride to not. I'll do episodes 4-9 eventually. Alfie - 2004 - What I call a portrait movie. An interesting character is introduced, then like, just a bunch of stuff happens and I guess the character goes through a change or something. Jude Law is a clever, charming slut. Then he kind of grows up and has trouble dealing with his past behavior, then there's some consequences, then he questions it all. Trite, cheesy, not very believable or interesting past the first 60 minutes. Like it was written with a moral by Hallmark or De Beers. And I just don't see the point of the movie. Netflix. 2/5shakin steakFeb 19, 2015View
