| 36816 | High School Reunions | I think the demise of Alumni Banquets and High School Reunions began long before Facebook came along. I attribute the apathy toward them as a sign that during our youth, we didn't share the same camaraderie that people in the decades prior did. <br><br>Something happened during the '70s and into the '80s that made us feel less like we were all in the same boat surviving the experience, and more like individuals making our own way. I'm not sure what spawned it, but I can see the difference when an Alumni Banquet comes to town. They make a lot of hay over it, but our graduating class never made much of it. I would think that this year being our 25th Anniversary that somebody would be out contacting people and making something happen, but nope. Nothing. I'm in the middle of watching the show over for about the tenth time right now. The first two seasons, which were the black-and-white episodes of the show, were far superior to the color episodes. The tone was much more serious; you might even describe it as film noir at times. Some of the battles with villains looked like something out of a gangster movie, and the criminals occasionally died.
