A lot of people complained a great deal about Man of Steel, but I personally didn't see many issues with it. I do think the tone of both Man of Steel and Dawn of Justice was too dark and gloomy. People enjoy the Avengers movies and many other Marvel films because of the playful side that accompanies the action and seriousness. It looks like they are going for that kind of film with the Justice League movie. It just feels like they're late to the game and playing catch up with Marvel all the time.<br> </i><b>-end quote</b></blockquote><br><div>This is all true. While I do like the DC movies, the Marvel movies do tend to be better. Strangely, the current TV shows based on DC Comics do have that playful element that the DC Comics movies are lacking, and they're better off for it.</div>SupermanAug 06, 2017View
36952The CaféSo I finally got around to seeing the new Spider-Man film today. Needless to say I wasn't that impressed. I felt there was too much humor, especially humor that was extremely cringeworthy. I also felt that there was too much of a focus on the Avengers and Tony Stark.<div><br></div><div>I was happy with the Vulture though. I never really consider the Vulture as a candidate to be a lead villain in a Spider-Man film, but this film actually changed my mind. I was however unhappy over Shocker. I've long wanted to see him as a villain in a Spider-Man movie, but I felt they half-assed him quite a bit.</div><div><br></div><div>I had to look up what the end credits scene meant, but I'm now happy if this means what I think it means. I love the Scorpion and just like Shocker I hoped to see him in a film. I'm not that impressed with his actor though. Hopefully his suit design won't suck.</div>Rick Ace RhodesAug 06, 2017View
