I try to be objective with reboots and such and not just a obstinate retro goon. The movie had some great comedic moments and there wasn't anything particularly cringe worth but you can tell the movie was tailored to today's teens. The music in spots, I could have sworn Kimberly was skipping holding her weapon like Harley Quinn and the movie definitely ripped off Breakfast Club at the campfire scene.
