| 39697 | Random Videos Thread | This one looks kind of distracting to be honest. When I was watching it, the enlarged sprites kind of brought my eye away from the game play. A lot of it seems to be because the 4:3 footage is zoomed in quite a lot. Usually, it looks better when there's a gaussian blur applied to the footage covering the black borders. That way, you know the footage is still there, but it doesn't look as eye straining.<div><br></div><div>Personally, I'm not really a fan of that way of covering up the black bars. I kind of prefer having a custom border, sort of like what Game Grumps has used for their classic gameplay footage. I also like a few of the borders the SNES Classic used, such as the classic CRT boarder. Of course, that's really up to you on weather you want to use that.
