I think that, at least with the well known characters... Hulk, Spider-Man, Iron Man, Thor, Captain America... they have stayed very faithful to the comic versions. Where they've taken liberties is with the not so well known characters... Ant Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, etc. Those liberties made the characters more appealing to a movie audience.</div><div><br></div><div>DC seems to have taken quite a bit of liberty with Aquaman in order to make him "cooler".
